Hi Gals!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! As a fairly Irish gal (emphasis on the “fair” – I’m so pale), I love St. Patrick’s Day and choose to honor it by wearing green. Also, I don’t want to get pinched. Nobody does. Back in my younger years, it was a requirement to celebrate out at a local Irish pub. Hennessey’s, Malarky’s, Muldoon’s, and The Harp to name a few. However, those days are behind me. Being on a Sunday, we went to church and then grabbed a sandwich and headed to the beach on this beautiful and sunny Southern California St. Patrick’s Day. I enjoyed being out and about seeing everyone sporting their green.

To church I wore straight legged olive green jeans, a cream off the shoulder sweater (mine is several years old but I found this similar one) and cream boots. Then I ditched the boots for comfy Birkenstocks and a hat to protect my fair skin from the sun when we headed to the beach.

I hope you gals enjoyed the day, perhaps with a Guinness or a Jameson. But whatever you did, I hope you styled yourself with some green.
