Hi Gals!

The holiday season is my favorite time of year.

It is the time of year to celebrate with family and friends; with old and new traditions. Going to dinner and a festive night out with my gals. Walking around festive neighborhoods to view their lights. Going to the same tree lot each year with my husband to pick out a Christmas tree (or just to smell them and then put up our fake one). Decorating my parents’ Christmas tree with my brothers and their families while reminiscing over childhood ornaments and vying for the “best spot” on the tree for our homemade ones. Baking and decorating cookies with my mom, and now my nieces and nephews. Church service and then looking at the lights around Balboa Island on Christmas Eve.

The holiday season is also the time of year to celebrate by getting dressed up. And OH MY GOODNESS, how I love getting dolled up for holiday parties (both casual and fancy), busting out all the bling, and wearing red lipstick and red nail polish.

As I reflect on this holiday season, I’m also reflecting on all my outfits for each event. I kept it simple and classic this year with a lot of black, accents of white and some green, and always with a bold red lip and gold jewelry.
